Established in 1987, the PNG Chamber of Resources & Energy is a non-profit peak body representing the mining, petroleum, and energy industries. It represents the mining, petroleum and related sectors, advocates for sustainable practices and contributes to responsible industry growth.

The Manufacturers Council of PNG is the representative organization for the manufacturing sector in Papua New Guinea. It advocates for policies and regulations that support the growth and competitiveness of local manufacturers, promotes industry standards, and provides a platform for collaboration and networking among member companies.

Founded in 1963, EFPNG is the highest-level employer association in PNG. It provides advocacy and advisory services on labor and industrial relations, representing employer interests and participating actively in national tripartite decision-making processes.

Judah Waffi

Judah is Executive Officer to the Fund’s CEO.

Prior to his current role, he was appointed Head of Special Projects in April 2021 after heading the Investment Division since January 2020. Prior to that he was Manager Investments.

Over a span of 16 years, Judah has held various Investment Advisory and Senior Management roles, having worked with Bank of Papua New Guinea, BSP Capital, PNG Ports Corporation, MRL Capital, National Airports Corporation and Kina Securities.

Judah is also the Founder of Madang Cocoa Company Limited, a cooperative based cocoa export company operating in Madang Province since 2018.

Judah has all-round experience covering financial markets and investment management, business development, marketing and communications, project management, transport and infrastructure, agriculture and landowner business.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of PNG.

Turaho Morea

Turaho joined the Fund in 2004 and was instrumental in establishing the Marketing & Client Relations Division.

The division’s functions grew from driving marketing strategies and advertising projects to developing successful membership growth initiatives.

Turaho was later appointed General Manager – Corporate Services, overseeing operations and the Fund’s branch network. He was part of the management team for nine years before resigning in 2013 to start his own media company. Turaho is a journalist by profession and was also a television news anchor for 11 years.

Turaho was re-employed by Nasfund on 11 February 2019, for his vast experience in the superannuation industry to drive strategic objectives to implement the Fund’s five-year Corporate Strategy.
