There are four (4) main policies required under prudential standards

The Annual Crediting Rate Policy: 

Determines how net investment returns are credited to members’ accounts each year, based on the Fund’s performance.

The Interim Crediting Rate Policy: 

Applies a temporary interest rate to withdrawals when the final annual crediting rate has not yet been declared.

The Reserving Management Policy: 

Maintains financial stability by holding sufficient reserves to cover unforeseen obligations and liabilities.

Policy on the Use of Derivatives: 

Sets guidelines for using financial instruments like derivatives, aimed at managing portfolio risk and enhancing returns, within strict regulatory and fiduciary limits.
