Founded in 1970 (originally as the Federation of Workers’ Associations in 1969), PNG Trade Union Congress is the country’s principal national trade union center. It advocates for workers’ rights and fair labor practices and represents a network of unions in national labor negotiations and policy formulation.

Established in 1998, PNG Banks and Financial Institutions Workers Union is the sole registered union for employees across PNG’s banking and financial services sector, including banks, insurance, superannuation, and fund management entities. It advocates for members’ rights, welfare, and improved working conditions.

The PNG Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-profit membership organization headquartered in Port Moresby. It serves as the unified voice of the business community, coordinating advocacy with government and stakeholders to support commercial growth and economic development.
