HEAD OF INTERNAL AUDIT

Nasfund is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Internal Audit to lead our Internal Audit Function.  

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for assurance on effective governance, risk management and continuous improvement across Nasfund.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Leadership: Lead with clear vision / direction and build a high performing team.
• Financial: Good understanding in interpreting financial statements and financial analysis.
• Audit & Assurance: Expertise in audit planning, execution and reporting with understanding Internal Audit Standards.
• Risk Management: Champion Identification, assessing and mitigating risk through robust Risk Management Framework.  
• Data Analytics: Translate data into insights and trends for decision making in maintaining corporate governance.  
• Change Management: Role model as a change agent to engage, encourage, involve, and lead others to embrace continuous improvement. 

Qualifications & Attributes

• Minimum of a Degree in Accounting / Finance. 
• Must be a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
• Must be a Member of Institute of Internal Auditors
• 10 years or more work experience in Audit, Assurance and Risk Management.  
• Experience in leading people and teams with visions and direction. 
• Proven experience in shaping effective governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Well adapted to leverage of Technology and Innovation.  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive change, manage risks, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to professional integrity and continuous improvement.
