Over 500 Nasfund Members were served at the 63rd Morobe Show

26th October 2026

LAE, MOROBE PROVINCE | The National Superannuation Fund (Nasfund) had a highly successful weekend at the 63rd Morobe Show. We brought our services directly to the people, giving hundreds of hard-working Papua New Guineans instant access to their superannuation accounts.

Many of our members work in areas like the 4 Mile to 9 Mile corridor and find it difficult to visit a branch during normal working hours. To help, we turned our show stall into a fully operational service hub.

Over the two days, members could easily print instant ID cards, update their account details, register online, merge accounts, check balances, ask about housing advances, and print statements.

The biggest highlight was our rapid, on-site ID printing. Members took photos, updated their information, and walked away with their official Nasfund ID cards in just minutes.

Heartfelt Appreciation from Members

Member Apolos Agita praised the team's efficiency, saying, “I really appreciate that I got served and received my ID card instantly.”

Xena Eileen Usu, a contributor for over 20 years, was also thrilled with the quick service. She noted how much Nasfund's discount partners have helped members over the years.

Events like the Morobe Show are a great way for us to connect with members face-to-face, especially since our branches can be far from where they live and work. The massive turnout at our booth shows just how much members need access to these services outside of regular business hours.

Nasfund CEO Rajeev Sharma thanked everyone for visiting and reminded members to keep their records current. “We encourage you to update your details, especially if you haven't filled out a form yet,” he said.

To continue reaching busy workers, Nasfund invites Lae employers to arrange free workplace presentations. This allows staff to access essential superannuation services right at their job sites. HR teams can easily book a visit by emailing customerserviceslae@nasfund.com.pg.
