A lawyer with nine years’ experience in civil, commercial, and administrative law, Maryanne continues to develop her expertise as a Trainee Director.
Prior to becoming a partner with Joseph, Brooks, Tusais & Associates, she was employed with Dentons PNG, where she initially began her legal career in 2015 and worked her way up to the position of Senior Associate in 2020.
Maryanne then joined the National Capital District Commission as Principal Legal Officer from June 2023 to January 2025 before returning to Dentons PNG as a Senior Associate specializing in civil and commercial litigation and dispute advisory work.
Maryanne holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Papua New Guinea and is a member of the PNG Law Society, PNG Institute of Directors, PNG Women Lawyers Association and the Young Professionals Network.
