Loloata Island Resort is a luxury boutique resort located on a private island situated off the coast in Bootless Bay and is around 20km from Port Moresby. Loloata originally opened in 1977 as a dive resort by former owner Richard Knight an Australian expatriate. In 2016, Nasfund and another shareholder acquired shareholding. A complete redevelopment and shareholding restructure was done in 2019. The resort now offers contemporary relaxation facilities for families and has state of the art conference facilities to host organizations who wish to host their employee workshops/conferences offsite. The island resort has more than 100 employees. Nasfund is the largest shareholder.
